    Fermentation experience

Your products made the experience pleasurable, they are beautiful both visually as well as functionally. I have recommended it to several of my friends

Thank you Kady we're glad to hear you like your wood pounder! It can also be used as a meat pounder and cocktail muddler.

    Use the Pounder

I noticed that some of the ChouAmi recipes said that I should use a wooden spoon or a rolling pin (who has one of those?) or a pounder to compact the vegetables in the jar. I ordered the pounder and I am very glad that I did. It has a large surface which makes it easy to compact my ferment and it is balanced in my hand. I also like that it is embossed with the ChouAmi logo and that it is made from Vermont maple. My first ferment is the holiday kraut which is looking wonderful on my counter. It is only the fifth day but I cannot wait to open it!

Thank you Gene! We're glad you like the pounder. You can also use the smaller end as a cocktail muddler, and the bigger end as a meat pounder.
