The bits and parts are high quality, the instructions are short and easily followed, and the whole thing worked like a charm exactly as described. So much easier than fermenting the way I was doing it, and I had fermented cabbage/carrots/cauliflower in no time. Very glad of the purchase. Will likely buy another.
I like the ChouAmi kit, no plastic involved, but sturdy metal and interchangeble glass jars. Also perfect size.
Super easy to use and tasty Sauerkraut. The size of the jar is perfect.
And it also made a wonderful present to my parents.
But it was extremely difficult to find the French Le Parfait products just 1 km from the French border…
Thanks! We're sorry to hear it's not easy for you to find Le Parfait products where you are. We've passed your comment on to them.
I was scared of fermentation because I thought you'd need a huge jar to do it. Now I can ferment just the right amount of food that I need! Thanks ChouAmi ;)
Not only is this very well designed for small amounts of fermenting (which is perfect for our small family). The inventor has offered several recipes and classes where she discusses fermenting so much beyond pickled cucumbers that it is amazing!
Thanks L! We're glad you've been able to participate in our classes. We do hope to do more educational webinars in the future.
